With: Anna Doolan, Liz Elvin, Grace Kingsland, Fran Marston, James Pearse, Jos Vantyler,

Sunday 22 November 2009 at 7:30pm AND Monday 23 November 2009 at 7:30pm

What happens when your school is threatened with closure? It is a special school for children with varying disabilities. Alan Share writes a thought provoking play in passionate defence of such schools and questions the validity of the government policy for inclusion.

ALAN SHARE educated at Merton College, Oxford as a barrister, was active in the Liberal party with Jo Grimond before heading a successful retail company. For many years he has been the chair of a residential care home in Newcastle and for seventeen years has acted as the governor for a special school for children with a physical difficulty and an associated learning difficulty.

NW3 HAMPSTEAD CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL FUNDRAISING FOR JACK TAYLOR

SCHOOL

We are proud to be the chosen charity by NW3 Hampstead – which is a group of traders, local businesses and the community.

All proceeds from the Hampstead Christmas Festival will go to Jack Taylor. The day will be full of exciting events and activities for children and families to enjoy finishing with the Christmas Lights being switched on. Activities start at 1pm and go on until 5pm.

Pupils, Staff, Parents, Carers, Governors and friends of JTS are all invited to come along and support this event. It would be lovely to see our school represented there by you.

We have been offered a stall in the main Marquee and would like volunteers to be there to help give out flyers and brochures to help raise the profile of the school.

Parking is free in Hampstead on Sunday and the area is pedestrianised with some road closures. We are sending a separate flyer home with information about the event.
