Short Break Services.

The dates set for the evaluation of tender for new short break services is on 29th June & 1st July at the Crowndale Office. If any parents /carers are interested, please let Emma Keegan know a.s.a.p as details will need to be passed on so that a preparation session can be arranged.

There are also plans to review the befriending service and how this would work. Again, if any of parents are interested please let Emma know. This work should start around mid July, with a discussion meeting, follow up and then ideally having the same parents involved in the short listing and evaluation of tender bids.

Communication Symbols

As part of communicating with students we use symbols to enable visual cues and support the spoken word. In particular the use of symbols is extensive when working with the pupils who have autism.
